I just finished my first tarot pocket using my own design, and although it would need some work and adjustments for future attempts, I'm very happy with it.

My male best friend has been using the same backpack for eight years, and it's falling apart. I'd like to knit him a bag, but it's hard finding patterns for bags that aren't little purses or girly bags. I just finished the "Poster Boy" bag from Stitch 'n Bitch Nation. It was my first attempt at Fair Isle, and I totally expected to end up in tears in a tangle of yarn, but not so! It definitely didn't scare me off of trying it again.
